I’m a bit of a fan of birds – you might notice this looking at what I make.  I’m also interested in tea, beaches, books, chocolate and dogs.  Cats occasionally make an appearance but they’re pretty elusive and publicity is a bit beneath them.  What I particularly like about  birds is the sense I have that they are not actually doing what we think they are doing.  I also suspect that they have exactly the same prejudices, needs and desires as we do.
